THERE ARE SO MANY INTER-CONNECTING STORIES BEHIND THIS WHOLE CERTIFIED THING. 1ST IS THE ACTUAL STORY OF HOW THE NAME CAME TO BE IN THE 1ST PLACE....
Pretty Much Amazing posted the Chiddy Bang mixtape The Swelly Express yesterday with a bunch of never-before-released songs as well as the familiar Chiddy Bang favorites.
BIO: "Chiddy Bang is a four piece hip-hop/electronica outlet from Philadelphia. Currently attending their first year of college, they posses a musical maturity that is far superior to the teen-pop cliché. Chiddy Bang blends hard hitting lyricism from front man Chidera "Proto" Anamege, original electronica afro-beat and jazz influenced production from keyboardist Noah Beresin or "Xaphoon Jones," and drummer Zach Sewall. Additional production and vocals are from guitarist Pat Braz. Their major introduction to the public was to a crowd of over 2000, opening for Mike Jones and the Legendary DJ Jazzy Jeff.” After listening to this mixtape I can absolutely say that I am a new fan of Chiddy Bang. Do yourself a favor and Download this HERE! Really feelin' Track 13 Slow down feat Black Thought. DF* So Wal-Mart has now started selling Caskets. Including the Virgen De Guadalupe above. This truly makes them your one stop shopping retailer. Funny how this just came about right in time for the holidays. And don't forget shoppers they have layaway. 10% down too. DF*
It brought energy, creativity and warmth to East Colfax. It was The Fabric Lab, the one and only. After 6 great years, Josh + Tran Wills have decided to close up shop and move on to other projects, new ventures, possibly a whole new city – all in the hope of creating more time for their family. They’ll be missed. Read more about what’s next on their BitterSweet post.
On a personal note I have had the pleasure to have had some DenverMade shirts at the Fabric Lab and meet and get to know Tran and Josh less than most of you out there. I am, to say the very least, both sad and happy for them at the same time. I want to wish the both of them the very best in everything they do in the future. I am looking forward to everything that the Wills bring to us in down the road. DF* BTW: Love the Mustang Pic. Denver Sneaker Shopping with Opt Won (Isolated Generations). Big up to Emage Skateshop, Family Affair, and CO Lab for opening up their stores to us. (via 38thSquare.com)
Bam! And Millsap gets a mouthful of Melo's Shorts. DF*
