Having a spare tire in your trunk is good, sure, but having two is even better. Especially when they're attached by a folding, pedal-free electric bike made by Volkswagen. A bike with a cool curvy frame. And two kickstands. The Bik.e, presumably named by a VW marketing intern who made the best typo of his life, made its debut at Auto China 2010. It contorts itself impressively to fit into the spare tire space in your trunk.
The bike has a range of 12.5 miles, and it's designed to draw a charge from the car itself so you won't need to worry about plugging it in. Unfortunately, there's no word yet on when you'll be able to put one in your own trunk—one tire and zero kickstands will have to suffice for now. DF* (via Gizmodo) As part of their Summer collection, WESC has a set of t-shirts designed by several of their “WeACTIVIST’s”. Names include Ray Barbee, Alex Prager, Chris Pastras, Stretch Armstrong, Stash (above), and more. Check 'em out. DF* (via MashKulture)
If you’re looking for inexpensive, yet trendy sunglasses, you might want to check out San Diego-based Knockaround. They have three styles to choose from, each coming in several colours. $7-$25 DF* (via MashKulture)
Converse Japan presents 4 new styles for May 2010. Next month the All Star Chuck Taylor will come in both low and high top versions with tonal white and red uppers. Furthermore the Jack Purcell comes in two gingham colorways and the Onestar comes in a solid white/red/blue colorway. DF* (via Highsnobiety)
If you are in the market for a new bike or undaunted at getting yourself onto a Harley, then the Harley Davidson Fat Boy Lo is an outstanding choice. This comes from personal experience. There are few words that sum up every aspect of this bike, but dark and massive are a good place to start. Just like a Model T Ford this Harley only comes in black, gloss, or denim. Denim, shown on this author's own bike (after the jump) is a matte finish coat that almost seems to absorb light, never to be seen again. DF* (via GearPatrol)
