Wow is all I can say. The Sleep Box may be the best concept since the automatic transmission. SLEEPBOX is a small mobile space (box) 2mx1.4mx2.3m (h). The main functional element in it is a bed 2x0.6 m., which is equipped with automatic system of change of bed linen. Tape is rewound from one shaft to another, changing the bed. If a client wants to sleep in maximum comfort, he can take the normal set of bed linen for an extra fee. SLEEPBOX is equipped with a ventilation system, sound alerts, built-in LCD TV, WiFi, sockets for a laptop, charging phones. Also under the lounges is a place for luggage. After the clients exit, automatic change of bed linen starts and quartz lamps turns on. Payment can be made on a shared terminal, which provides the client with an electronic key. It is possible to buy from 15 minutes to several hours. I can see these places at airports for lay-overs and in the mall so us men don't have to suffer shopping with our women. As I get older I have come to appreciate a well needed nap and the Sleep Box sure would grant me the rest I need. DF* (via LikeCool)

Whether you're a homebrew enthusiast or a hardcore tailgater, DIY site Make's clever "Convertible Jockey Box" will dispense a refreshingly cold brew every time. A jockey box is one of those funny coolers with a built-in beer tap on the outside. Inside, it has the requisite plumbing to draw beer from a keg, and a metal coil or cooling plate. Once you fill the cooler with ice and attach a keg, the coil or plate, acting as a heat exchanger, quickly chills the beer to a proper serving temperature — even when the keg itself isn't cold. According to Make, it's not hard to find pre-made versions for a whopping $150; the DIY version is much cheaper, and it nicely fits a mini-keg entirely inside. Video instructor extraordinaire KipKay walks through how to do it in the video above (or you can grab the PDF for the project here. DF* (via LifeHacker)
