Who the F*#@ is DenverFrank?
A long time ago in a barrio far, far away (West Denver) a dude named DenverFrank was born. Seriously, that what is says on my birth certificate. Jump ahead a few years to 1986 when I was turned on to Licensed to Ill from the Beasties. Before that I used to rock out to stuff like Sabbath, Zepplin, Metallica, Motorhead, etc. This whole other world of Hip-hop was turned on to me and I liked it! Jump ahead again to high school where the cultures influences were all around me. I was still into rock and still am today. I knew cats who were graffin', rappin and other cats DJ'ing. I was inspired to say the least. I picked up some 1200's and a mixer and began my quest to become a DJ. I got good! Okay, decent. Dj-ing parties, clubs, and some of the first underground raves in denver with Hipp-E, K-Nee, and John Chamie. Well it never panned out like I wanted it too. So here we are. I have met so many people who are putting together such good music and mixes and events that I want to represent the city by representing them (you!). DenverFrank wants to be a place for what you want to promote. Gig, show, party, art, pictures, quincenera, Bat Mitzvah, birthday, whatever.
