If life teaches us anything, it's modesty, appreciation and humbleness. During times of tragedy, football becomes a trivial thing.
Football also unites people. Football turns strangers into friends. Football brings friends and family together. Football is the break in life where our worries are transported to a small corner in the smallest room. But most importantly, football turns fans into family. Marijuana Matrix: With new dispensaries opening daily across Colorado, the prime names are getting snapped up faster than the docs who are willing to prescribe medical marijuana. Now to worry, though; with this handy medical marijuana matrix, you can devise a new dispensary name faster than it takes to light up a bowl. Just pick one descriptive from column A, one noun from column B, and one vague but respectable-sounding label from Column C (feel free to add an article or two) to come up with one of 27,000 unique combinations of herbiage verbiage.
That should take care of all the new dispensaries opening in Colorado until at least February 2010. -- Patricia Calhoun (Via Westword of Course) DF* ...is a bit unhealthy.
Came across most of these just around the net. The first pair over @ The White Shoe Blog. The second pair I found at Converse.com. Converse has a "Design you own Shoe" page. My inspiration for the third pair came from the 2nd. I like the darker Gray and red detail. You also have the option of adding and "ID" which I added DenverFrank. If I could add my logo then I might purchase these. ($65.00) The last pair may be my favorite though. Its the Converse Four Horsemen ($44.99) design which, believe it or not, was not designed in coordination with the Poplemon.com 6 month party collabo between DenverFrank, LARD, Whorebath and Filthe. But I wish it had been. DF* Mile High
The mayor of Denver and the Denver Post newspaper initially refused to use the name "Invesco Field." They eventually gave in (wusses), but that doesn't mean you have to. Made in collaboration with Uni Watch. Ten percent of proceeds ($2.50 a shirt) will be donated to Food Bank of the Rockies. Buy the shirt HERE. (Via The Denver Egotist) |
