Directed by Marz and shot @ The Shoppe, Dent came home to put out the Denver edition of Sunshowers. I have felt this song since day one. Dent shows DenverFrank some love by reppin the streets shirt throughout the whole video. Love the Cameo appearance by a few of my Twitter friends. Nice work Senor Dent, Nice work.. DF*
We'll be the first to admit that Nike would have been the first shoe company we'd expect to launch its own handset, but that doesn't make the Puma Phone ($TBA) any less cool. Designed by Puma and Sagem Wireless, the Puma Phone is an "active smartphone," offering the expected features — like mobile Internet, messaging, GPS localization, video calling, Bluetooth, a 2.8 inch touch screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash, music player, and 3G — as well as sport-minded niceties like GPS, a compass, a pedometer, GPS tracker, and stopwatch. Oh, and it's got a built-in solar cell for charging when you're out on the trail, at the track, or just relaxing by the pool. (via Uncrate) DF*
Its rare that DenverFrank gets out on a weekday but i might have to journey out this night. So much talent is going to be in the house on the 25th that there is a good chance the Church will explode. Don't miss this one. DF*
Denver Public Works Right Of Way Enforcement (ROWE) is piloting new “smart” parking meters in the Downtown area in an effort to explore ways to make parking more convenient. The new meters are solar powered, wireless and accept Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards, as well as nickels, dimes, quarters and dollar coins.
The smart meters have a digital display screen, which allows ROWE to change the message according to the circumstances. For instance, the display may read “No Parking – Street Sweeping,” saving drivers a citation. On Sundays and holidays when parking is free, the display may read “Free Parking Today” and the smart meter will reject payment. During the pilot, the meters will be installed on ten blocks in the downtown area. The meters will only be installed on one side of the street to allow drivers to choose if they would like to pay at the smart meters or at the traditional coin only meters. These new decks, absolutely wonderful, available from SK8 MAFIA. While these are totally great, I probably wouldn't skate them. You know why. DF*
