So i've had this mission since last week to make it into the SIA Snow Show. I thought of every possible angle and every single one fell through. From asking people in the industry (with no response) to trying to do the semi-official thing and get in as a member of the press (my blog) with no answer back from the SIA people. So today I had it bad for getting in. I made my way over and did a quick casing of the joint. After about 10 minutes I found a propped open door. I snatched the handle and quickly yanked it open like I had business there. Inside was one lone security guard which I easily overtook. Don't worry he'll only wake up with a killer headache. Once in it was a free for all. Yeah, I did worry about not having a badge but I am DenverFrank "I don't need no Stinking Badges." Great stuff at the show. Tons of booths and reps who are willing to talk you into carrying their product for one reason or another. My favorite booths had to be Ride and Skull Candy. Ride because they had a actual convenience store set-up selling refreshments and snacks and Skull Candy because they provided eye candy. Anyway, peep shit below.

This guy definitely looks suspect.

DC had a line of people sitting down waiting to get in.

Coolest Cats at the Event by far were Micheal and Joel from SANS USA. Click Pic for LINK.
So overall a great time. I got a free hat, stickers, lanyards, chapstick, boardwax, energy drink and didn't have to pay a dime. If you are a ski and snowboard enthusiast then this would be your show. But unfortunately it isn't open to the public. Hence, why I had to get in the way I did. The best thing about this tradeshow is how it will stimulate the economy in Denver. I for one was definitely stimulated. DF*

Bobby Fresh is proud to announce the debut of our Fake Sneakers App for iPhone. For years now, Bobby Fresh has been a leader in the war on fake sneakers, and now the message of our “Fake Sneakers Aren’t Fresh” tees has been applied to a mobile application.
Inspired by the “Infrared” Jordan VI, our new project displays a scan of the stitching, materials and overall design of a shoe. As shown in our demo video, inauthentic shoes (and the people selling and buying them) are shamed with a flashing red “FAKE” at the end of analysis.
We’ll be releasing the app for free at

I really think my fear of clowns goes back to the original airing of Stephen King's "IT." Yeah it was a hell of a long time ago but it still freaks me out. To this day I honestly would cross the street if I saw a clown walking towards me. DF*

Looks to me like a highly overpriced pair of Cons. I just wonder how long anyone will pay these prices before they realize that. Although I kinda feel these they get a BIG thumbs down for the price. DF*
